1. Definitions

• "Service" refers to the vehicle rental services provided by Quartzline
• "User" or "You" refers to the individual or entity renting a vehicle
• "We", "Us", or "Company" refers to Quartzline
• "Vehicle" refers to any automobile rented through our services
• "Rental Period" refers to the agreed timeframe from vehicle collection to return
• "Agreement" refers to the binding contract formed upon rental confirmation

2. Acceptance of Terms

By inquiring about, reserving, or renting a vehicle from Quartzline, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Quartzline, governed by the laws of Singapore.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To rent a vehicle from Quartzline, you must:

• Be at least 25 years of age
• Hold a valid Singapore driving licence or valid international driving permit
• Have held a driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
• Provide valid government-issued identification (NRIC, passport)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Provide a valid payment method

We reserve the right to request additional documentation to verify eligibility.

4. Reservation and Confirmation

Vehicle reservations are confirmed upon:

• Receipt of completed reservation request with all required information
• Verification of driver credentials and eligibility
• Availability confirmation of requested vehicle or equivalent
• Agreement to rental terms and pricing

Reservations are subject to vehicle availability. We make reasonable efforts to honor specific vehicle requests but may substitute equivalent vehicles from the same layer if necessary.

5. Rental Terms and Conditions

5.1 Rental Period

• Quartz Layer: Daily rentals available
• Agate Layer: 48-hour minimum rental period
• Geode Layer: Extended rentals arranged individually
• Late returns incur additional charges at the applicable daily rate

5.2 Vehicle Collection and Return

• Collection times are scheduled by mutual agreement
• Orientation and handover require approximately 30-45 minutes
• Vehicle must be returned to agreed location unless alternative arrangements made
• Fuel tank must be full at return (as provided at collection)
• Vehicle condition is documented at collection and return

5.3 Vehicle Use Restrictions

The rented vehicle must not be:

• Driven by anyone other than the named renter without prior written approval
• Used for any illegal activities or purposes
• Driven while under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances
• Used for racing, competitions, or timed events
• Subleased, rented, or loaned to third parties
• Driven off-road or on unsuitable surfaces
• Used to transport hazardous materials
• Overloaded beyond manufacturer specifications

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Rental Fees

All pricing is in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and includes:

• Vehicle rental for agreed period
• Comprehensive insurance coverage
• Full tank of fuel (collection and return)
• Included amenities as specified per vehicle layer
• Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable

6.2 Payment Terms

• Payment is required at vehicle collection
• Accepted payment methods: Credit card, debit card, bank transfer
• A security deposit may be held on credit card during rental period
• Extended rental discounts apply for periods exceeding 7 days

6.3 Additional Charges

You will be charged for:

• Late return fees
• Mileage overages (if applicable to rental layer)
• Toll charges and parking fines incurred during rental
• Interior cleaning if vehicle returned in unsatisfactory condition
• Damage repair costs not covered by insurance
• Loss or damage to provided accessories or documentation

6.4 Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations 72+ hours before collection: Full refund
• Cancellations 24-72 hours before collection: 50% refund
• Cancellations less than 24 hours: No refund
• Company-initiated cancellations: Full refund
• Force majeure events evaluated case by case

7. Insurance and Liability

7.1 Insurance Coverage

All rentals include comprehensive insurance covering:

• Third-party liability as required by Singapore law
• Vehicle damage (subject to excess/deductible)
• Theft protection (subject to policy terms)

7.2 Renter Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Any damage occurring during rental period up to insurance excess amount
• Traffic violations, parking fines, and toll charges
• Reporting accidents or damage to police and Company immediately
• Following all Singapore traffic laws and regulations
• Maintaining vehicle security (locking, key custody)

7.3 Insurance Voidance

Insurance coverage may be void if:

• Vehicle used in violation of these terms
• Driver under influence of alcohol or drugs
• Unauthorized driver operating vehicle
• Accident caused by reckless or negligent driving
• Damage from prohibited uses

8. Accidents and Breakdowns

In the event of an accident or breakdown:

• Contact Quartzline immediately (+65 6245 8713)
• File police report if required by Singapore law
• Do not admit liability or make statements to third parties
• Document scene with photos if safe to do so
• Exchange information with other parties involved
• Follow Company instructions for next steps

We will arrange recovery or replacement vehicle as circumstances permit.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately if:

• You violate any term of this agreement
• Vehicle is used for illegal purposes
• Payment obligations are not met
• False information was provided during booking
• Vehicle condition or use suggests negligence or abuse

Upon termination, you must immediately return the vehicle. No refunds will be provided for terminated rentals.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Singapore law:

• Vehicles are provided "as is" with no warranties beyond those explicitly stated
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• Our total liability is limited to the rental fee paid
• We are not responsible for personal belongings left in vehicles
• We make no guarantees regarding vehicle performance or suitability for specific purposes

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and documentation, is the property of Quartzline and protected by Singapore intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

12.2 Dispute Resolution Process

Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to:

• Attempt good-faith negotiation to resolve disputes
• Consider mediation through appropriate Singapore mediation services
• Provide written notice of disputes within 30 days of occurrence

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the complete agreement between parties
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, remaining provisions remain in effect
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
• Assignment: You may not assign this agreement without our written consent
• Force Majeure: Neither party liable for failures due to circumstances beyond reasonable control

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms. Material changes will be communicated to active clients.
